Burke Windham

Burke Windham graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Houston in 1966 and Vanderbilt University in 1970 with a degree in Engineering. He practiced engineering for eight years with Brown & Root, including nuclear power plants. He began his residential construction career in 1978 and founded Windham Interest Inc. in 1982 which started doing business as Windham Builders in 1991. Burke is a member of the Greater Houston Builders Association and Greater Houston Partnership where he is a member of the CEO Roundtable 27. He has held leadership positions at St. John the Divine Episcopal Church, The Rice Design Alliance, The Briar Club, where he was President in 2003, St. John's School and the Herman Park Conservancy. Windham Builders work has been published in Southern Living, Veranda, Metropolitan Homes, Texas Architect, Houston Architectural Guide, Houston Business Journal and several other publications.
